Payments
50% deposit is required upon securing a date.
Balance due before event.
Delivery or Collection
$30 for Northern Suburbs. $50 for Palmerston.
Delivery outside of these areas are quoted individually.
If picked up, The Chantilly Kitchen does not accept any responsibility once cake has left our premise (unless delivered by The Chantilly Kitchen).
Placing an Order and Securing a Date
Bookings can be taken up to 10 months in advance.
A minimum of 1 month lead time is recommended for sculpted and special event cakes, as planning and interstate ordering is often needed.
We do attempt to cater for last minute orders where possible, however it’s not recommended as dates fill quickly.
How Much is a Cake?
All cakes are unique and personal, thus priced individually.
The amount of detail, decoration and design, is specific to each cake.
An 8” round cake, covered in fondant, starts at $150.
Flavours
The Chantilly Kitchen can accommodate almost every flavour imaginable! Common and popular flavours are suggested below-

In an environment such as Darwin, ganache is a recommended filling and coating for a cake, under fondant. Cream Cheese frosting and buttercream are delicious on cupcakes and is possible in cakes, during the cooler Dry Season.
Can you cater for food-intolerant customers?
Yes! The Chantilly Kitchen makes, sugar free, nut free, gluten free, Paleo, vegan all upon request. Make an enquiry to see if it’s possible.
What’s in a cake?
Only free range eggs and the finest ingredients are used for making all their home-baked sweets. Nothing is pre-made, including decorations, which are all made by hand (except for boards, ribbon and diamante’s).
A lot of time, trial, error and practice has been put into the Chantilly recipes. Measuring, sifting, and mixing are all a science when it comes to the perfect cake, slice or cookie.
